There are six C's of effective writing for social media. Those six C's are, Content, Community, Culture, Conversation, Creativity, and Connection.
Many different people write and use content for social media for many different reasons. Depending on what they are writing the content for determines their audience and where the content should be released. The community is the group of people that all have similar interests and values and they come together to create content. Culture involves the lives, experiences, and beliefs of the community. Conversation helps to make sure that the content works for their audience. Creativity comes from the conversation and helps to make the Connections.
Created content is the content that is original and is created by yourself or group. Curated content is the content that is brought in from other sources.
The voice of the brand represents the personality and characteristics of the brand, whereas the tone is the voice of the characteristics being represented in the content.
It is important that you and your audience are passionate about the content you are putting out. You need to know your audience as well so you can create or curate the right type of content for them.
